I finally broke the 1800's barrier and she's a beauty!

So today I had about 20 minutes to hunt and took advantage of it. I hunt a house site that was said to be built in 1823. I knew there were older coins waiting to be found at this site and here's the first. My first 1800's coin. 1891 seated dime.

Location, location, location....that's what it will take to get the seateds. Great find!!

I'm still looking for my first seated dime after over 825 silver coins I've dug in the past 18 months :-\ , but I know over 90% of the places I frequently hunt won't hold a coin like that. Location is so critical to find those oldies!

Thanks for all the nice comments. When I pulled it from the hole I saw the back side first and nearly skipped a heart beat, when i turned it over i nearly sheet me breeches. Went back after work but only found clad and junk. I have exclusive access to this site as it belongs to my brother in law and sister so you can be sure I will hunt it for a good long time.
