I found a British 6 pounder Canon ball that rattles when I shake it :)

hello everyone, I have joined this site in the hope of someone being able to shed some light on my canon ball find, I live in the south east of England in the small military town of deal kent, while excavating my Garden I uncovered a canon ball, interestingly you can feel something moving about inside it.. should I be concerned, I don't want the bloody powers that be blowing the thing up, equally I dont want a potential pipe bomb in the house...lol, your thoughts?
