I found a C/W vet. badge and other goodies

Went hunting today and had a good haul. Found a v nickle 1895 .1935 buffalo 1941 wheat cent
a square and compass thing and a civil war veteran badge. oh and two tokens and part of a crucifix
and a bottle stopper thing. Anyone know what the square and compass thing is?

Is the vet's badge from United Confederate Veterans? I agree with everyone else about the compass thing. It looks masonic.

The badge is a 1909 Memphis, Tenn. UCV reunion badge.
