I haven't posted in a while because I have gone detecting in a while. It's just been too hot! So, instead, I've been trying my hand at coin roll hunting. I haven't been very successful at it. I have a total of 2 silver dimes and a war nickel plus an assortment of other slightly keepable coins.

Well, today, I found this little guy. I think it's kinda special going by red book and ebay. It's a 1982 with no mint mark. I'm happy either way! Thanks for looking and any input is welcome.

This is an interesting coin.

I saw the reference to the missing mark on the link, and it says to keep an eye out for modified coins since it is easy to scrub the mint mark off of them.

Does anyone see a milling mark kind of swirling around where the mink mark should be?

Or am I seeing things?
