I went to a field that I had looked once this spring after they turned it. It has been very dry here this year but last week it rained 1 1/2 inches in town. From looking at radar, I think that field got about we got in town. It is a sandy area and I felt I might find something. I looked for a couple of hours and everything I found was pretty much beaten up. I almost came home but decided to look one more trip down the rows and back. Thank goodness I did because I found this one. It is perfect. What type do you think it is?

These are pretty beaten up.

If it came from TN Valley it would be a Dalton type.

I'm a little ways from you over near Thomasville (I assume you're near Americus, hence the name). Those look a lot like what we find around here. I would have said Dalton or Tallahassee on that one. We do find both types in this area. I have a brick red one similar to it somewhere.
