I went detecting again today with my aunt felinepeachy. At first I wasn't having any luck. After about 3 hours I found a 1923 wheat penny. I little later I got a good tone on the detector and dug but couldn't find anything. I finally gave up and walked away from the spot. My aunt walked over to where I had dug and found the pin for me. The back of it has the initials "FAP" The front has little tiny colored pieces of glass or something that make flowers.

I believe that is a broche pin, alot of the ladies in the 1920's would wear those on their fancy hats.
Nice recovery, it looks like it will clean up good.

Stick with Feline Peachy (Mia) ;D, she'll lead you to the good stuff. I think the pin may be millifiore (sp?). Congratulations on your finds, ya done good.
