I was literally saying to myself that these were going to be the last rolls I'd get from the bank. I've been very unlucky. I only have found one 1967 silver out of the 70 or so rolls I've hunted. Well! Just after I said that... out popped this guy! Not old, but still silver!

I do not know how the market is in Canada, but the serious coin hunters in the US consider silver a bonus. Errors, types, and varieties are the bread and butter. Granted, hunting for silver is faster and easier, but significant errors can bring much bigger paydays.

Still, I do love seeing the silver stack get bigger.

Time for more coffee.

Well I've come across only two errors in my life... 2 clipped coins. One I found metal detecting the other while I was looking through my mom's coins. They are worth 3 bucks each (so 2 dollars more then silver)... but for non-obvious errors I'm not interested. I look at what others call errors and I can't see them. Unless they are obvious then I'm at a loss for what to look for.

CRHing is one of those things where there are long stretch that are not really productive. Keep at it if you enjoy it, more than likely at some point you'll hit some better rolls.
