While i''m out detecting in the sun, all sweaty n dirty. she's (wife) home in the A/C. finding treasure in ole packed up boxes. We're remodeling'she found this token, in great shape. i didnt clean it at all before i scanned it.

it is a coal token from amherstdale. wv. (logan county)-but i guess you knew that?

if the date of manuf. patent on the reverse is 1948? it is rated r-3 out of 10
