This week has pretty much sucked, here with my in-laws, wifey back home alone, beating the street trying to secure employment. Finally, this afternoon I got a written commitment confirming a job. Hopefully it’ll placate my mortgage company, and we’ll be able to close on our dream home.
Thanks to all my guys on Tnet for your encouragement and support...
I’ll be hauling a$$ back to Ft. Myers at 4am, 16 hours later I’ll get home and pass out.
Sunday recover, watch golf, and get ready to give my boss my 2 weeks Monday morning, which will be epic!:headbang:

See? When you think you're at the bottom, UP is the only direction left. Congrats !! :occasion14:

Congratulations! Good Luck in your new job, and have a safe and stress free move.

Congrats BWD... but I got news for you...

IF you watch golf...

You might take a second nap :P

Now you only have to memorize the phrase
“ welcome to Walmart”

Hot damn!!! Congratulations Dave!!!

Congratulations! What are you going to be going if I may ask?

My wife and I are leaving the Florida seasons for the mountain seasons.
Snowbird, dry, rainy, and hurricane seasons are being cashed in for winter, spring, summer, and fall.
It’s been since 1996 that I’ve experienced normal seasons.
365 days of summer sucks.
Western Maryland is our happy place

Congrats on the new job, home and relocation...Good Luck! :occasion14:

I am happy for you. But, reading the title gave me nightmares. I dreamed that I had a job! That really interferes with ones retirement.:laughing7:

I hear you! I’m going back to normal seasons soon myself. I’m so over southern weather.

Glad to hear it Ive been crossing my fingers for you but things always seem to work out...Great to hear My Friend go live a happily ever after!!!!!

Sounds like you're motivated and most of the time that's all it takes. I had to stay with an aunt and uncle for awhile when I was securing employment to move to colorado, wife and kids were 10 hours away back home and I'd go every few weekends to visit, then back here for work on Monday. Took me 6 months to find a place so hopefully yours goes better, but it worked out because we were motivated for the change and we wanted it bad and it came sure enough.
Keep your thoughts positive and the suck will be over soon . It just makes you stronger.

That's was 13 years ago now that I think about it haha.
