:hello:Hi,

This is a true story:

This morning while Hank golfed "9" I detected for 2 hrs at high tide.

15 minutes into the hunt, I recovered in the wet sand a ring which had the remote possibilty of being maybe, somehow, could be, if, whether or not...9 K or 10 K; I have found rings in this condition that turned out to be of a low gold quality.

Well, I set out to clean the ring, and although it didn't look too bad, my hopes were dimming with each cleansing procedure.

But undaunted, I proceeded with a gold acid test .......result was that red flashing "not gold" signal....:sadsmiley:

Off Hank & I went for lunch to a Chinese Restaurant. Final pic is of the message on my Fortune Cookie that I unwrapped after the meal.

Yup...right on! :laughing7:

Here's pics....thanks for reading my post .

Too funny. :laughing7: However, it could also be taken that, if you believe it is meant to be, on your next hunt you're going to find......."A REAL HONKER!" (And the way you master/operate that machine I wouldn't doubt it a bit! :icon_thumright: )

Do what I do. Buy a box of fortune cookies at the grocery, eat em like candy and throw away those annoying little pieces of paper. Think about it. Some loser is sitting there writing that crap, another loser is running the machine that prints them out and an even bigger loser stuffs them in the cookies. I guess I should be politically correct and say person, but screw it.

The last fortune cookie I got had a fortune that read "Learn Chinese." So I turned it over and on the other side it said "We're not kidding, you owe us a trillion dollars." Ouch!
