I had a hunch

Detecting in my old local swimming hole and I found a piece of twisted brass. When I got home I started looking at it and tried To figure out what would fit in it. I tried one of my Kennedy halfs and it fit pretty good. The next day I went to the same spot in the water and found my first walking Liberty. I also found my first 1800' silver with a 1876 seated quarter j
