I am just taking it slow because the ball is in my court right now.

On Jan 28 I won 14 Star Trek trading cards for .01¢ each, I was the only bidder. (14 diff auctions)

This seller immediatly marked them paid even though he never sent invoice or me paying. I figuered if i paid .14¢ paypal would even cut into his loss even more. So he was going to cut his loss this way.

Well he never shipped them. I sent two messages that he ignored.

So, I filed 14 item never received complaints. I know it was a waste of time for such a small thing, but this guy decided to stiff me and ignore my messages.

I went through the process and this is what ebay sent me:

eBay Customer Support has made a final decision.
You didn't pay for the item before opening the case. When you place a winning bid or buy an item, you're required to pay for it.
Final decision: A refund won't be issued for this case.

Are those guys at ebay on drugs or does a computer come up with these decisions?
I told ebay I wanted the cards not a refund.

So, now I have 14 auctions where I can leave a neg feedback.

He already gave me great feedback like:
Thank you for an easy, pleasant transaction. Excellent buyer. A++++++.
Hope to deal with you again. Thank you.
Quick response and fast payment. Perfect! THANKS!!

Should I let him have have it? ? ? ? ?

You are on the plus side with the seller, he gave you the feedbacks for nothing. Over $.14 I would move on, but that's just me.

Light him up....It might only count as 1 neg though, multiple purchases same seller.
I would give fleabay a call, talk to a real person. Just put the phone on speaker and find something else to do...it usually takes a while.

I probably wouldn't deal with this seller again. Move on and let the stress go to someone else.

no stress here, just didn't like it that he stiffed me and wouldn't return 3 messages. If he had sent a message at the beginning asking if he could back out I probably would have said no problem. I have already blocked him from bidding on me auctions.

Yep, you didn't pay. He owes you nothing. Dosn't matter what your reasoning was.

I guess you guys do not get it.

He marked them paid, so I could not pay.
Then he didn't ship and refused to answer 3 messages from me and 14 from ebay.

so i guess the moral of the story is if any of you sellers do not like the final sell price you get just mark it paid and don't ship, ebay will go on your side because the buyer didn't pay. I smell a loophole here.

Is that now 14 strikes against me for not paying?

ebay just proved my point and they made it impossible for me to contact them about it.

I just left 14 negative feedbacks and clicked on 1 star for each catagory.
This is what I left:

What is your problem? I win & you do not ship. You made it so I could not pay.

and what did fleeBay do? ? ?
they instantly removed every single one of them.
so the seller will never even know he did bad.
bet he has done this before.

Only if he opens a case against you for non payment. You need to call ebay and explain this whole fiasco to them. If the seller marked it paid and this blocks you from paying then that is a definite problem and yes a big loophole if someone doesn't want to let something go for what it sold for. I've never heard of such a thing but I'm glad I know now.

good idea. I tried to find his email but it is hidden or I would pay each one separately .01¢ and he would have to pay paypal fee .30¢ each ;)

This seller does not seem to learn. I did some investigating on him. 10 days before his auctions with me closed and he marked them paid he went on the ebay forum and made this post "Fair DSR - Terrible defect rate - should I expect seller suspension?" .....My dashboard now reports 19% of my transactions have had defects.

He had all these defects and still pulled this trick off? I was going to buy someting else and see how he handled it but he has nothing for sale. His account got suspended March 2, who knows for how long.

Cyberdan, your life must be sweet if you have time and energy to ruin an ebayer for items you never paid for, and from whom you received excellent feedback.

I would easily move on, and retract the multiple negatives you gave him on EBAY.

This is not the big stuff.

He already did that to himself before i even made a bid. Did you not read above ebay instantly removed those negs when i sent them.

I just do not like people who take advantage of the system to screw with people.

Looking at the dates ebay suspended him one week before I left the negs.

At what point does it become "big stuff?" I just happened to win 14 auctions. How many other people has he done this too, and he got off scott free? It is not the dollar value, it is the fact that he pulled this trick on me.
