It even still has a ball in one of the chambers. It is complete with some field gunsmithing done to it. I would like to know what model it is, 1st, 2nd or what ever. It has a blade front sight instead of a bead and there is an extra dovetail on the bottom of the barrel just behind where the loading lever locks in to position. All numbers match and several of the screws are going to have to be replaced along with springs and such inside along with the barrel wedge. I've looked at serial numbers and found that it was made in 1866, I have also been told by two other different people that it was made in 64 or 65. I would prefer it be of war production but don't care if it isn't. Thanks for any idea or notions on what model or what year it was made will be appreciated. Here's a picture or two...d2
