I hit the feild across the street!!

I did some research of the area and the other feild held small fair around the turn the 1900. I hit a hot spot and found some goodies.

Wow nice lot of coins, see that is why I think my old 1800's school yard has been searched. I should be finding old coins by the handfull, like you. If my yard was not searched, I would be.

Hey Hardpan. Judging from your finds there has been more there than just the fair. Those cut nails could go back to the early to mid 1800's and that musket ball was probably not used at the fair. You also have a rivit for a harness there. You may wish to keep digging in that field and turn down your discrimination. You can never tell what nice old relics you might find.
