I just got my new detector for my trip to hunt the beaches in Florida and the Carolinas. I've never detected the beach or water before but I've seen what has been found so I decided to get a detector for the beach and shallow water.

Hope you got one that will work in salt water as well as fresh water. Now get a decent scoop. Then when ou are done on the coast shore you can hit the fresh water back home.....Matt
