There's something about the calendar page turning that also turns searching luck for some reason. Today's $40 in nickels from the casino shows a marked improvement!

Having a difficult time unloading my first two boxes of halves from the casino vault. I visited the local bank that advertises free coin counters and the machine has a sign on it that reads "Please limit coin amounts to less than $150.00". Well, that rules out my $1000! I'll have to tote it to the downtown casinos about $300 at a time since the parking situation isn't conducive to lugging in huge bucketfuls at once.

I could get the third box tomorrow but I already have too many cups of halves hanging around right now, and the vault boxes aren't going anywhere, so I'll get the next one maybe Wendesday once I've gotten rid of some of these rejects.

Ya think the utility company, credit card company or other monthly bills would mind getting their payment in half dollars this month ? 8)

Ha, or how about Costco? I have to run by there tomorrow. I'd look like Kramer trying to pay for a calzone with pennies!

Last week, I paid my car loan with $250 in halves. The teller just laughed and took them. Another teller hinted that they wouldn't let me do that again, since the only business I have with that bank is the loan. I don't have any other accounts with them. I will be paying the loan off this month anyway, so it really doesn't matter.

That's a good episode, kramer walking down the street with pennies spilling from every pocket of his pants, then dumping handfuls of them on the counter when trying to pay for the calzone... :D
There is also an earlier episode where George brings a water cooler full of pennies to the bank only to find out that they must be rolled.
