Hello All. Hunted my new site, a 1920's home site, for the 3rd time and the good finds are getting a bit scarce but still managed a few keepers.

Got my 7th and 8th on-site Wheatie, a complete razor of unknown make but all brass with very nice lines, a vintage dog tag, various hardware, and my first silver coin, a Mercury in GREAT SHAPE.

Probably still more to find there but I am now digging iffy signals and I am gonna need more new dirt soon!!

Thanks for the view and GLTA. C9

Hello BWD. Yes it is the vet. I found J. L. Ruble listed in the 1948 "Index Catalogue of Medical and Veterinary Zoology". Interesting, how did you know J. L. Ruble was the vet? I thought he or she was the dog owner.

Thanks for the reply and yes I agree on the razor is a great find...but I like the Mercury more.

Good Luck. C9

Because I am all-knowing!:notworthy:Ha!
No really, I recall other dog tags found in the past by other members, their research proved the same. I have a few modern tags, (within past 20 yrs), that have the same popular Vet down here....
