I need help identifying a possible meteroite.

I found this close to a riverbank and thought it was an Indian artifact. A few people that I've shown it to said that it looked like a meteorite. I need help identifying it and appreciate your opinions. Thank you all, Jonathan

Sorry, not a meteorite. The obvious porosity of the rock makes it terrestrial.

I suggest visiting websites of certified meteorite labs. Many have identification guides that can help determine if you may have a meteorite.

Sorry, Chub, been skipping more coffee a lot these days. The forced inactivity from two significant surgeries the past six weeks leaves me a bit jittery if the coffee is to strong or too frequent. Back to the 44 ounce from Dari-Mart in a month or so.
