I need help to ID today's find

It was found at the field I have found several 1800s items.
The back appears to be lead and the front silver or silver wash.
It has some fancy on the outside edge and maybe a W in the middle.
I was thinking brooch. Button, or bridle rosette?
Can anyone ID this and date it?

I am going with Bridle Rosette, because of the lead back. I have found a few that were made of lead, and a few that were made of silver.

Yup, bridle rosette with the brass bar on the back broken off. Here's a modern one:
