Hi All,
On my way to the local park to hunt alittle I drove thru or local fairgrounds to see if any construction or work had been done lately and lo and behold a area that i have found older coins before had been worked on!its an area where they have pens for the animals and all the metal pens had been removed. It is not a huge area but large enough to take about 3 hours to hunt.Even though I didn't find any silver I did come out with 27 coins including 18 wheats! The oldest that I can read so far is 1930.I love silver but still get a major kick with finding wheaties.ALWAYS RECHECK YOUR FAVORITE HAUNTS FOR FRESH AREAS!!!!!

Wow, that's a lot of wheats to find without any silver. You better check your detector. Did you notch out silver? :D

I always enjoy finding wheats too - never seems to get old.
