Tried taking one with out water once and got a stiff neck.
Ooops, sorry Chris, yes its getting expensive. A bag of chips the other day for all most four dollars caught my attention. So they came home with me.
I keep threatening when pricing beef to hit the next deer that is in the road. I don,t of course. As a kid a cart load was about forty dollars. Now its hard to fill a few bags under a hundred bucks. A buck for a can of veggies.A buck on sale!

Went in BK and they had 2 chicken sandwiches for $5. I got then and ordered two orders of onion rings, med. It came out to over $9. I couldn't believe the onion rings were $4.90. Live and learn.

In the food store, the best buy was the potatoes, $1.90 for a bag. I cook them in the miceo for app 4 min wrapped in a paper towel. I add butter and bacon bits, or cheese , or a dressing. Cheap meal!
The price rise has really got me cooking again. Frank...

Yep, everything is going up. We raise our own beef and chickens so it's not effecting us that much. We have a garden every year and do a lot of canning and freezing and we always have fish in the freezer. When the stuff we buy from the stores is on sale is when we buy it; things like cereal, butter, mayonnaise, soups, and other canned foods etc. It just doesn't make sense not to. Home grown stuff tastes much better than store bought and it's fun growing it. We sure feel sorry for apartment dwellers. :)
