The experiences of a total newbie:
My first $130 gave up: 62 Ben and a 66... "Yeah I'll try a box next!"
First box yielded: 4x64, 65, 67, and 70s, 88s, 99s, and 00s (all s-mints are near-UC condition). "What could be easier? I get a second box!"
The second box: By the condition of the 53 heads and 47 tails showing at the ends of the rolls, I think I have a box of UC 1995p. The box, just like the first, was sealed with packaging tape, machined rolled in paper (green bar pattern near the ends with perforations in the middle to open the rolls), with no markings anywhere except the "$500" on the sides of the box. All the showing ends are absolutely in perfect condition, there might even be a touch of oily film on them when you angle them in the sunlight.
I guess I return this box without opening a roll!
