I haven't posted for a while because I hadn't been finding much of interest. This past Monday, my new E-trac arrived. I took the week off to spend some time in the field.

The first coupld of days was spent just learning the new detector. I hunted some parks, and local yards.

Wednesday, I went to an old Boyscout camp and found a a couple of wheats and a Merc.
Thursday, I went to my secret "gold mine". It is a wooded area with lots of history. I just knew there should be silver there, but until now hadn't had much luck there. Yeasterday, that all changed.

My finds yeasterday included:

A 1944 wheat
A 1909 Wheat
A 1913 Barber Dime
And a 1833 Capped Bust Dime.
