If the dealers have them, it's quite possible the cashiers have them as well. We're the halves wrapped in the tray, or loose (stacked)? If loose, should be easy enough to see silver rims if any.

Most casino halve will have smooth rims. They are beaten smooth by going through the slot machine thousands of times.

A member here named immy lives in Vegas. He might be a good source on getting halves from casinos. I avoid them. (too cheap)

They had loose halves that I could see they were not silver, but also had rolls which they would not sell me

Maybe you could go to the teller and ask for halves to play the slots. Go to your car, search them, pull all the silver and go back to a different teller and cash out. Repeat if necessary.

I would think casinos that have half dollar slots that actually accept coins would be a phenomenal place to dump!

Are there any casinos left that have slot machines that take actual coins?

I never go to casinos but now that you guys are talking about it I just may to see if there are any half slot machines.
I think there are three Indian casinos in this county.

I'm surprised they have halves unless they use them as markers for certain games. Slot machines usually use tickets.

The halves they have in stock probably came from boxes, not individuals - no silver.

At the casinos we go to, the tables use halves to pay certain bets. They are using unopened rolls, just wouldn’t sell me any

That's A great idea. I've got a casino pretty close.

My local casino is a favorite place to dump.
I never get any attitude like I do with certain tellers at regular banks, as long as I tip the odd dollar or three.
The trick is to run out of there with your bankroll!
