You would think after my 8 or 9 passes through the median that the targets would be diminishing:icon_scratch:... Not today! I dug out 7 more silver coins! 4 mercury dimes, 2 Roosevelt, and a silver 1943 nickel!
The icing on the cake were the postal service badge and the watch fob that was dated 1924. My 18 wheat pennies today brings my total of wheaties dug out of the median to 506! Eventually this median
will tap out with targets, but until then I'm going to continue to hunt it!:icon_thumleft:

That post office badge is awesome! Before you drop it in the mail box as it says, let me give you the address to mail it to! Hahaha

When you add up both sides it's almost 4 miles long. It's been keeping me real busy for several years...

It has to be a little over 200. I tend to hit the wall after about 6 hours. After so many beeps I get a little rummy...

I tell ya, that seems like a great place to hunt. The one thing I find myself focusing on in your pictures, however, is those cedars! Amazing, old trees in the middle of a cluster-eff of humanity. I would be clutching my detector while diving out the door of a moving car, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, to detect that area. Congrats!

Good grief, that median is producing. That postal badge is fantastic. Dungeness crab season opened today and I’ll be up in the San Francisco area for the next couple of days doing a little fishing and crabbing. If that doesn’t pan out, I just may have to hunt down the location of that median for some dirt fishing!

Hit it after a good rain and it will probably give up even deeper targets my detector seems to work better in wet conditions.

The fob certainly appears to be a Bishop or Arch Bishop. That median is large enough, that you may never exhaust the good finds , enjoy the ride.
