i went out and found a few things with my new delta 4000...pics

we built here in 1976 so i was just wanting to test the tek. delta 4000 out i got yesterday.i found a few coins. id was pretty much on. also found part of an old lead tag. all i can read is "use monkey TRI-S reg.new york u.s." it's round and bout d size of a fifty cent piece...any ideas??

I also have a Delta 4000 and I really enjoy the depth and it is a super coin finder. I also like the lightness of it. Your arm doesn't get sore so quick. Enjoy your future hunts. HH :icon_profileright:

Great pictures and glad you like your new detector!!

I did a "little" research on your monkey?..lead tag.

Is it possible that it could be an equipment tag from the Tri-State Mill Company from New York? I believe they produced cotton mill equipment that was shipped to the Southern States in the 1930's. I couldn't find anything with monkey inscribed on it, but perhaps it is another word.
