These make really nice treats for kids birthdays or school treats. Its fun to let them decorate their own also.
We also tried this with brownie mix.....put a few peanut butter and chocolate chips in bottom of cone.....then add brownie batter...but only half full....they will be about an inch from the top when baked....then add your scoop of icecream on top....Yum Yum
ICE CREAM CONE CUPCAKES
Basic cupcake batter or box mix
12 flat-bottom wafer ice cream cones
Make batter for cupcakes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spoon the cake batter into about a dozen flat-bottomed wafer ice cream cones. Fill each about 2/3 full.
Line up the cones on a large baking dish or jelly roll pan. Bake for 20 minutes. They'll puff up and look like ice cream cones. Let your cupcakes cool before you frost and decorate them.
