I found this in New York in Indian Lake. I do not know anything about this stuff and any information would be much appreciated.

Looks like granite, and not a recognisable tool form.

Geofact. I can see why you'd think it could be something. The general shape, etc... I used to hate the term geofact, but it is an accurate term for those items that look like an artifact, but have no discernible (man made) work.
