ID of small copper goret

Any ideas of the native stamped on this piece its a small piece 6 by 3.5 in . A IMG_0037.JPG IMG_0040.JPG IMG_0034.JPG nd to read makers make have to turn upside down to read looks like j barton.

No its wasn't dug up, its from a collector who passed on so its been handed down. Looks British to me l may be wrong but the jacket looks British.l know its from Tecumseh time period check photo

Look's British to me, too! However, hard to tell anything without it in hand............
Checked Canadian silversmith's with no success...........
