Found these two today. Pretty sure first one is a Madison but real curious to what everyone think the second one is. You can see it has a concave base with a ear ding. Thanks

Are you saying these are bird points? Based off your subject line? In my opinion those are definitely big game points. Sadly I don’t know about the ID’s. I’m excited to hear tho!

To me that second one looks late paleo period. I can't tell for sure.

Ok I’ve never found any that small and assumed they were what people referred to as bird points, thanks

The bigger triangle is a nice point. Bird point is a common term for small points, even though most would have been more effective on deer & bison than sparrows.

The little point does have a paleo look to it, but there are some later points with that flaking that can look paleo.. Any grinding/smoothing on the edges?

Smokey Cat I agree that the chipped point is probably Paleo. Don't know about being an expert. I have been collecting since I was 12, I'm now 76. My guide for ID'ing points has been Overstreet since 1995. None are thought to be any better and as it appears you are into collecting and you've post here many, many times more than me, you might agree. Probably you agree on Overstreet. New dates are thought to be expensive for beginners but for those not familiar, they can get a used one with some looking.Try Ebay or on line search. Just getting started you will be impressed. Just know the most exclusive museum miss identify points at times. New collectors I recommend Overstreet.
