ID This Token?

This token was found in Michigan City, Indiana in a small park.

This is a picture of the front of the token. The picture is not very good, but it is either a clown or a wizard. I think it is a wizard.

Yep, it's a wizard.

These were one style of typical arcade tokens from about 1980.

I worked in video arcades about that time period.

Many had cool designs on them. I always liked the wizard.

All types of BFOs owned. Especially want White's Arrow; White's Oremaster; Exanimo Spartan Little Monster; Garrett contract Little Monster.
This is a Manufacturer's Stock Arcade token. collectors call them MSAs. Some arcades would purchase these for use in their change machines and others would order custom tokens and be loaned several thousand of these to use while awaiting their order. When the order came in they would return all the loaners they still had and pay for the remainder. Since most arcades charge 25 cents or five for a dollar these have a catalog value of a quarter. siegfried schlagrule
