I would say British 303 enfield WW1. Would need a caliper to be for sure. But that rim case leads me to believe i am right . Probably has early cordite powder ( spaghetti string like powder) corrosive

Sorry it took so long, here you go.... Hungarian made 8 x50R, the W is the code for Manfred Weiss Patronenfabrick (Budapest), the V is the code for the 5th month of the year of manufacture.
