I have been holding on to this piece for about 5 years now and I've been searching for the makers mark online to see if I could get any kind of information with no results. I am hoping someone here my recongnize it and point me in the right direction. Thank you so much in advance and you all stay well and safe.

A very well made piece of silver. I've looked also online and can't find the mark either. Being numbered leads me to believe this silver company would surely have other works out there and not a company that made very little items of sterling silver. Maybe the eye of the great Red-Coat will be able to shed some light on this item of yours. 🤞

Thank you for responding to my post. I sincerely appreciate it. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
I think the makers mark is FL/fi/F1
Dating the compact as Art Deco.
I looked at style, companies, silver marks and have not found anything.
Certainly a very nice piece.
Approximately where are you located?
State/Province or city.
Could give you a reference for a place that could help.
Merry Christmas to you and your family also.

Hi PepperJ, I found a mark for Harold Fithian for Fi. Do you think my piece is from him. I know my F does not have a curve, but it is the closet I found. Can you take a look and tell me what you think. he is a link to the jewelry. https://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/cuf...ling-silver-tie-bar-money-clip/id-j_11664822/
Thank you so much
Yes the F vs the f is apparent.
Timeline fits in, but....
The compact is made in Canada
He's California USA
Primarily men's accessories (This is a woman's compact-in todays world it could be for either :dontknow::laughing7:)

So I'm not convinced this is a solved case just yet, darned close though.
More research needed.
