I just got a new permission today at an 1800's house. Hit it for about 2 hours this afternoon. Here's my only coin finds from the property so far. A 1925 Merc, and a 1911 D Barber dime. Both in the same hole, about 8 inches deep.
I saw the Merc first, in the pile on my placemat, then looked into the hole and saw another coin. I was hoping for a 3rd!
I also gave a silver ring I found to the property owner. You know I'll be back to this site soon!
