thanks to tim for the invite to detect with him, and thanks to dennis for driving. i was using my mxt because other machine is down, i got an iffy signal just as tim was coming over, dug it expecting more can slaw and i was pleasantly surprised to find a 41 merc. on top of a 41-d nickel. also got a 1910 wheatie, clad and a lot of trash for my friend dfw to sort through for the scrap yard. thats silver coin #20 for the year, hh all.

Hey it's always great hunting with our country cousins, the bucket brigade! Wished I could have put you on top of that barber but it fairly jumped out at me, only about an inch deep.

Looking forward to seeing you guys down by Dennis' back 40 one of these days soon!

Congrats Mark, It seems that there is a lot more "iffy" silvers popping out lately. Days of clear signals are far and few in between.
