I'll bet a man was mad when he lost this !

That is if he really lost it. If he threw it, then it made him happy !! Either way, its a 10k gold ring that ended up in my pouch this morning. I'm still hitting a park while waiting for the farmers to start getting into their fields for harvest time. About two hours later, the 1944 Miss Winged Liberty Merc was eager to see the light of day. Its always a pleasure to dig a Merc. They are such a great looking coin. Rounding out the outing was a 1941D Wheat Penny, along with 14 clad coins in the 4 hour hunt for today. Sorry, I forgot to post the in-situ photos.

Nice recovery on that Gold. Even on hunted out ground such as a park etc., these little jewels can pop up at anytime...freshly lost and luckily recovered by a
good detectorist who is all ears !! Nice !!
