The design is sweet, How deep were those finds? I do have another question though. Why do people feel they have to disassemble the detector and store it in a bag? I keep mine together and just either let them stand in the garage or hung on the wall when not in use. I drive a van so they fit in the vehicle just fine completely assembled.

The GOOD thing about disassembling your detector is that you know you can get it apart if you need to. Rods get stuck together with fine grit and can be impossible to take apart, so you maybe SOL if you need to disassemble to fly with it.

At about 20 cm ,here you cannot go with MD like in US and i need to put all in a bag and only at place of detection i make MD whole.But go more deep.I need to make a hole and do a test.

Yes, bathing them once in awhile is also a good practice. I usually disassemble and clean them once or twice a year depending on the terrain I hunt or if I get into the mud.

Is with five wire,but i clean coil every time to not get next time false signal form some mineral remain on them.
