Today, I went back to the 1908 permission where I got the law called on me. I've only detected the front yard and this will be my first time to detect the backyard. I decided to use the CTX 3030 with the 11-inch stock search coil and use an open screen and dig it all. There was some trash in the backyard but not really bad. I only managed to find a few coins in the backyard, but one of them was a 1911 Barber Dime. It was down around 8 inches and on edge.

After thoroughly grid searching the backyard both ways with the CTX, I decided to hit the front and side yard again with the Equinox, but this time using the 6-inch search coil instead of the 11-inch search coil. That combo proved fruitful, I unearthed a 1943 Mercury Dime and a few wheat pennies.

To make sure that I didn't leave much behind, I pulled out my modded Cibola with the 8-inch doughnut search coil attached. Right off I unearthed 2 Buffalo Nickles, a Chinese coin with a hole in it, a toy lead soldier and a couple of wheat pennies.

Total coins found at this site - 49 Wheat Pennies, 6 Indian Head Pennies, 3 Buffalo Nickles, 2 V-Nickles, 1 Rosie Dime, 2 Mercury Dimes, and 1 Barber Dime. 95% of the coins were dug in that small front yard, look at how well I left it. After one heavy rain, you won't even know that I've been there.

The lady whose husband called the police on me came over and talked with me for a while. I made friends with her and I'm betting she going to talk her husband into letting me detect their yard so I can teach him how to detect.

That's a lot of coins for such a small area - nice work. Love that Barber, and have not found one myself in sooo long. Congrats and good luck with the neighbor.

Thanks, Everyone! I sure had fun at that site. I still may hit the backyard with one of my CZ detectors to see how it handles the EMI of the power lines running across the back of the property. Also, I really need to go back over the side yard by the fence line and sidewalk. It's really steep and hard to keep a footing but I did manage to pop a couple of wheat pennies from there. Maybe, when it dries up some, I'll give it another go when it's less slippery.

Nice finds Tabman. Good way to turn a bad situation into a good one with the neighbors.
