You're ahead of me. I've been metal detecting since about 1980 and CRHing for about 3 years now and I've never found 1800's silver. Congrats! :icon_thumright:

all lines visible around the globes and the ship, good hair lines on the head. I'd say VF

Also found a 1948 50 ORE laying on the dumping machine. 40% silver @ 4.8 grams

nice work, I was thrilled as well when I found my 1899 barber half.....barely made the "cut" !

Well done! Sadly, my oldest find was a 1906 one Rupee coin. Same size as a half dollar and .925 silver. Still waiting on my first pre 1900.
