Dear Interested Party,

In compliance with Section 11346.4 of the Government Code, the Department of Fish and Wildlife (Department) has rescheduled the public hearing to receive comments on its proposal to amend the regulatory definition of suction dredging in the California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Section 228, subdivision (a). The new hearing date is Wednesday, June 11, 2014, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in Sacramento, California.

Please see the attached notification for the date, time, and location of the public hearing. This notification can also be found on the Department's website at Suction Dredge Permitting Program - California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Re: Suction Dredging
In compliance with Government Code section 11346.4, the Department of Fish and Wildlife (Department) has re-scheduled its public hearing to receive comments on its proposal to amend the regulatory definition of suction dredging in the California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Section 228, subdivision (a). The hearing originally scheduled for Thursday, June 5, 2014, will now be held on the following date and location:

At the public hearing, any person may present statements or arguments orally or in writing relevant to the proposed amendment described in the Notice of Proposed Regulatory Action (Notice File No. Z-2014-0415-23). The Department requests, but does not require, that the persons who make oral comments at the hearing also submit a written copy of their testimony at the hearing.
Any interested person, or his or her authorized representative, may submit written comments relevant to the proposed regulatory action to the Department. All written comments must be received by the Department at the office below no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 11, 2014. All written comments must include the true name and mailing address of the commenter. When submitting comments, please indicate whether you agree to accept subsequent notices for this rulemaking electronically. Written comments may be submitted by mail, fax, or e-mail as follows:

Absolutely nothing personal intended, TGP - but the 2,000 or so demonstrators who showed up from all over the country at the Bundy ranch had scheduling conflicts also.

American Mining Rights Association (AMRA) has announced they will be speaking at the meeting. I'm sure Western Mining Alliance will be there also. Now's
the time to re-schedule and join in unity. When you go, take pics to post here. If just 10% of club members from Auburn, Sacramento, East Bay, and 10%
of all you independent guys out there, show up, it will be overwhelming ! (p.s. - Mad Marshall, i'll pay for you and bro's gas money)
