Hello, I live in central new york. I live about 5 minute walk from the new erie canal. I've hunted it one time and only found junk. I was wondering if anyone could help me find new places around my area to hunt. I am very sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forums but it was the best suited for my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, kolby.

Kolby,
Welcome to Treasure Net !!
As a suggestion, ask at your local library's Reference Desk for the Historian in your area. Contact that person and ask about 'old places'--possibly abandoned--in your area.
Happy Hunting,
Don...

Welcome to T-Net. There are lots of threads scattered on here with suggestions on research and places to go. The local library as well as internet searches will give you some ideas. Good luck and have fun.
