the way the timber is being cut these days it would be hard to find indian signs

Found on a birch tree 25 yrs ago close to a small creek. Other trees had pics of deer and buffalo on them. Wish I would have had a camera. The creek had riffles cut into the soapstone bottom.
Guess they used it to pan gold.
