Have any Infinium users have an alternative battery charger for the batteries? I went to put in my battery today and discovered the wire was broken off the charge head. Honestly its a cheap piece of crap that included, has anyone modified or found a better charger.

I looked up your Infinium detector. It's showing a battery holder that accepts (8) AA batteries. Is this correct?

If so, I would HIGHLY recommend buying some aftermarket rechargeables, like these from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ESYV5CQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

As well as a separate battery charger, like this:
https://www.amazon.com/EBL-Ni-MH-Re...1473060036&sr=1-4&keywords=AA+battery+charger

That way, you can carry a spare set of charged batteries with you. You can also buy alkaline batteries if you happen to go on vacation and forget your charger. ...But then, you could also look up and find a car charger for AA batteries.

You can still use and recharge the batteries that are currently in the machine, but you shouldn't mix them with newer batteries.
