I have one that looks identical to yours in shape. On the bottom at the top it says "Carter's", in the middle the number 31, and below that is says Carter.

Unfortunately I do not have any paper work on it, I was told it came from a collection from Montana, was supposely dug up at an old camp of Sitting Bull's in the early 1940's. I got it from a collector I knew for a long time.......Nice story, but no way to prove it......I know it is old....

tHANKS. Its not embossed. How much is it worth?? It seems to have a ground pontil and applied top

Thanks!! I think its neat.. ALthough as I was walking away with it... I thought about it being sick..
