Hi all!

I was metal detecting at a friend's house in Staten Island. We found a couple pennies, 2 silver quarters (1948 and 1961) and this interesting button. It has some nice design work on it, but I'm just not a button expert. Has anyone seen a button like this before or does anyone have an idea of how old it is?

Thanks!

Hi Kevin; Remember that Staten Island was a stopping point for Immigrants coming to the USA. I have seen that design before. I believe it is Polish area type button circa 1940's ok. Value : 0 Interest : Yours. PEACE:RONB

Thanks all! BARKER, thanks for the info. I'll see if I can find a replica online with that information. This is the most exciting part of the hunt! :)
