Hello,

New to the boards and relatively new to detecting. I was working an old farm field today and came across and interesting hand pump I think. It was burring about 7 inches deep in area near some trees and stream. I have searched google images all night long but no luck. I know this land only had one farm house in the late 1800's and nothing else since. I have found many iron bolts, springs, pipe collars and beer cans..lol But this is my first unknown item. I know its a pump and the slide is still somewhat working and i can see it forces air into the other pipe by a very small hole. Looks similar to an old hand fuel primer in an antique car.

Maybe someone will know what this is.! :-) image1.jpeg image0.jpeg

Not sure on the size, but part of a seed drill/spray nozzle applicator comes to mind.
