I don't hunt as much as I should these days. Recently, a nice woman who lives a old schoolhouse gave me permission to hunt the premises. In the last few days, i picked up a few wheaties, a pound of nails, and trash. Today i found 2 British coins at about 8 inches deep: 1918 King George V penny and a 1938 King George VI penny. Doubt they are worth much but I was elated :)

Sorry for quality

Congratulations on the old copper recoveries!

I pulled 2 this year and was excited when I pulled both from their plugs. The coins may not be worth much, but finding them is priceless. :icon_thumright:

MAN WHY CANT I GET LUCKY AND FIND STUFF LIKE THIS ... NICE FINDS ...

This should be under today's find but it don't matter.

I returned to the old schoolhouse today and found 6 more of these English coins! 8 total. :)ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1444351210.815893.jpg

Wow ! Were these found in a really small area ? Clearly 8 of these were not random losses this far away from the source .
I'm a bit mystified on this one - School kid losing these - Nah ... more like stashing these .

Hey I found a few of those around my sites. They're great for giving you a rush until you figure out they're not 1700's lol. Nice scores

Steve

Argentium - these found in about a 2'x2' area. I found an old lighter and several nails. I'm running the 350 in a very tight discriminating mode. I should open it up and dig it all!

Thank y'all for looking.
