Could it be Jadeite? Looks like it :dontknow:

The type looks like a Levanna to me.

Nice point. It looks like a levanna point. My guess is quartz which is usually light gray and white but Ive seen it with red, pink, blue, yellow and green hues. Quartz was a major tool making material used by the indians along the Conn. river.

Thanks, you guy's know your stuff. I got permission to metal detect that field but I'll be looking for more points for sure! HH :icon_thumright:

The hunters who live in your area probably know best what it is but I just found out recently that there is such a thing as "green obsidian"! Who knew? (well, that would be me who didn't know but, still...) ;D

That is a nice point, looking at you photo of the field I noticed there is a slight rise in the field about the middle of the photo is that where the artifacts are found ?

No I found it just about where I took the pic this field is planted with potatoes so I'm just doing the edges for now.
