I decided to make an unscheduled 2hr stop in Trenton on my way home from Kingston, ON yesterday afternoon after I spotted a 1/2 acre site with potential.
I only had time to cover about 1/3 of the area, so I'll definitely continue my investigation when I'm in the area again in about 2 weeks.
I'm not going to post pictures of this site, mainly because it's in prime view of a major highway.
My first find was the 1921 Penny, followed by the 'Canada' Wings, then the '45 George VI & the '58 Lizzie.
I searched online for what age or Canadian Military Division this piece came from but without success.
I posted a couple of pics for comparison of what 'real' RCAF lapel pins look like compared to mine.
I also posted a picture that shows the farm that a buddy of mine was going to detect on Tuesday, but for obvious reasons he decided to wait.
Thanks very much for looking,
Dave
