Found this in some jewelry from an estate sale. The pearls are actually real and old. The bell on the inside doesn't seem to belong with the rest, but the small tweezers do. Any ideas?

maybe something for a hooka. small hot coals put in it and the "tweezers" would pick it up and put them on the hooka. Just a guess

I believe those are "pill tweezers" with the box. It may just be a fancy pill box. (Insert song here: She goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper. And it helps her on her way...)

Hi - if it's as small as I think it is, then it may very well be a saccharin bowl/ pot. They were often made of sterling silver because they were so small. The teeney tongs are the real give away for saccharin. If they pearls are truly real pearls, then that is a very, very interesting, exotic, unusual piece and it must be sterling. That's my two cents anyway.

Have to agree with relevantchair. Suger bowl with tongs for the Cubes. The bell is a seperate item.

The top is also a bell, it appears to be brass. Sorry I forgot to post pics with a coin for size estimates but the diameter is a lil larger than say a Morgan/Peace dollar
